On July 21, 1979 the concert AMANDALA: Festival of Unity, a benefit for Relief and Humanitarian Aid to Southern Africa took place at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge Massachusetts. The concert featured Bob Marley and the Wailers, Dick Gregory, Olatunji, Eddie Palmieri, Jambula, the Art of Black Dance and Pattie Labelle. The political music event raised money and political awareness of the on-going liberation struggles that were going on in Zimbabwe, Namibia, and South Africa. This video features Bob Marley and the Wailers performing a medley of Jammin, Get Up, Stand Up and Exodus.
