The Clash Rock Harvard Square Theater

The Clash opened up a full frontal attack with “I’m So Bored With The USA” and it drove the sold out Harvard Square Theater to it’s feet.

No one sat down for the rest of the show.

With a flurry of angry and harsh chords, the battle was on to take over the hearts and minds of audience who had been waiting for this show for months. The Clash didn’t disappoint and banged out one seamless gem after another without slowing down until the middle of the set when they served up a taste of Jamaica in Junior Murvin’s “Police and Thieves.” The Clash absolutely killed it that night and for those lucky enough to be there it was a show they will never forget. Keeping with The Clash’s call for diversity in music, it was a righteous nod to have Boston’s Rentals and r&b and Chicago Blues legend Bo Diddley open their show.
