Andy Reissig-Silkscreen Designer/Punk Fashion Plate

Andy “Rude Boy” Reissig moved to Boston in ’76 to study Theater Scenery Design at Boston University. After kicking that around for a couple of years he worked with several Boston punk artists and fashion designers creating silk screen t-shirts making a name for himself with his trademark Rude Boy checkered T-Shirts and ruckus rude strolls on the Spit’s fashion runway. Andy also did experiments with silk screening for the Starving Biafrans fanzine and was a common face mixing it up with the punks and artists in Boston’s music scene. Andy brings a unique perspective to the work that was done on poster design with Boston artists and musicians.
