Andy “Rude Boy” Reissig moved to Boston in 1976 to study Theater Scenery Design at Boston University. After kicking that around for a couple of years he worked with several Boston punk artists and fashion designers creating silk screen t-shirts making a name for himself with is trademark Rude Boy checkered T-Shirts and ruckus rude strolls on the Spit’s fashion runway.

The introduction of the colored Xerox machine was a game change. What type of impact did the color Xerox poster have on the music scene?

What do you think the difference is between the posters of the 80’s and today’s digital posters?

There are several posters from the La Peste and Human Sexual Response collection that promoted shows from the Bird Cage in Boston’s Combat Zone. What was the attraction to the artists and musicians to that part of town?
